Complete the following procedures in order until the problem is resolved:
Delete the Desktop [CMIME] service book and regenerate the encryption key.
Delete the Web Client [CMIME] service book and request a new service book.
Clear the Service Book database on the device.
Clear the Service Book on the device and regenerate the encryption key wirelessly.
Create a new Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) profile and associate it with BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

The Desktop Redirector can be used in Microsoft Exchange environments that do not use a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
The Redirector performs the following functions:
Monitors your mailbox for new mail.
Applies your filters to new messagas to determine if and how the message is forwarded to the handheld.
Compresses and encrypts new messages and sends them to the handheld.
Receives messages from the handheld, decompresses and decrypts them and places them in your Inbox.

The Desktop Manager is a companion software program for the BlackBerry handheld device that manages the link between your BlackBerry handheld and your desktop email program via the USB cable. This integrated suite of applications provides the following functions:
Synchronizes contacts, appointments, tasks, and reconciles email between your handheld and computer.
Load new applications and upgrades from your PC to the handheld.
Backup information from the handheld or restore previously saved information back to the handheld.
Allows you to choose between BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server or BlackBerry Desktop Redirector) or BIS ( BlackBerry Internet Email) installation
A new encryption key can be generated with the BlackBerry device, Desktop Manger, or the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

A new encryption key can be generated with the BlackBerry device, Desktop Manger, or the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
To generate a new encryption key with a BlackBerry device
From the Home screen, click Options or click Settings, then Options (depending on the theme #: you have running on your device).
If you are running BlackBerry Device Software 4.0, click Security.
If you are running BlackBerry Device Software 4.1 or later, click Security Options, then General Settings.
Scroll down to the Service section and click the trackwheel.
Select Regenerate Encryption Key.

To generate a new encryption key with Desktop Manager
Connect the BlackBerry device to the personal computer.
In Desktop Manager, double-click Redirector Settings.
In the Redirector Settings window, click the Security tab.
Select Generate keys manually, then click Generate. The Generating New Key window appears.
Move the mouse around until the Generating New Key window closes. A new encryption key has been generated.
If you want to be prompted to generate a new encryption key every 31 days, select Generate keys automatically.
Click Apply, then click OK.
To generate a new encryption key with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server
Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer on which the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is installed.
Select BlackBerry Manager.
Right-click and choose Properties from the menu.
Click the Port tab and select COM or USB.

To find the device connection automatically, click Detect.
Click OK in the dialog box asking you to ensure that the device is connected.A new window appears notifying you that the device has been found. It also displays the user’s personal identification number (PIN).
Click OK.
Select the user’s account.
Right-click and select Properties.
Click the Security tab and select Generate keys manually.
Click Generate and move the mouse around.
Click Apply to change the Status from Pending update to Up to date, then click OK.
