InPulse SmartWatch Apparently Shipping Soon; Despite Its Delay
on Tuesday, April 6, 2010
For those who pre-ordered the InPulse "SmartWatch" for $149, their expected release date in February never came. Allerta, the Canada-based InPulse maker, has assured everyone that the watch will release soon.
On the InPulse blog they said, "We have some amazing news that we’re going to be sharing very shortly. Images, video and something that all you pre-order customers will be extremely happy about. inPulse is almost here."
The InPulse "SmartWatch" connects to your BlackBerry via BlueTooth 2.0, which allows you to see a preview of incoming calls, e-mails, and SMS text messages.
It will be interesting to see how functional and practical the InPulse watch really is. The only downside we see thus far is watch can only show you a preview, and nothing more. It would be nice if it comes with quick reply options.
Did you pre-order the InPulse "SmartWatch"? Are you getting impatient for its release?
