While not every Storm2 9520 user will be jumping for joy (since this is a non DRM release) this OS 5.0.0.669 will still make for a great hybrid. So far this is the highest build we've seen thus far...and they keep going higher, fast. If you're able to use this or you're a hybrid builder, have at it!

Now we know non-DRM OS' aren't always useful for everyone. However, if you're into hybrids, then this OS will make you happy. There are a few minor known issues with the OS, but other than that it sounds like it is solid. So if you're able to run non-DRM OS', check out 5.0.0.643 for the Storm2 9520.

Thanks to Riv we now know that Vodafone Egypt has officially released OS 5.0.0.580 for the BlackBerry Storm2 9520. We don't know much on the performance of the OS. However, we've learned that this is a DRM version! So if you've got the time you might want to check this out and let us know how it is!
