Ford SYNC AppLink with Voice Control Releasing for BlackBerry
on Tuesday, April 20, 2010
Ford will soon support BlackBerry devices with the SYNC AppLink in all 2011 Fiesta cars. Ford plans to allow voice control, which should help with hands-free calling for a better, more safer driving experience. Ford also plans to support BlackBerry phones on all SYNC AppLink vehicles by 2011.
The first initial apps that users will be able to control using their voice will be Stitcher Radio, Pandora, and OpenBeak for Twitter. It will be interesting to see what other Apps this service will support and how well they can be used via voice control.
