UAProf Doc Shows BlackBerry 9800 With OS 6.0!
on Sunday, April 11, 2010
There has been a lot of buzz lately with new devices being found using BlackBerry.net. This time model 9800 has been found through this UAProf document, running OS 6.0, full QWERTY keyboard, 360x480 display, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.
It is interesting to wonder what this device could possibly be. A device with a full QWERTY keyboard and a display of that size? It sounds strikingly familiar to the 9700a we've seen before from a previous UAProf document. Perhaps this is an updated "slider" or something entirely different?
It shows the 9800 to be running an OS 6.0 browser, but it is only html version 4. It does not make it clear whether or not this is the upcoming webkit browser.
Usually, once a device gets outed we learn more information quite quickly. What are your thoughts on what this new BlackBerry 9800 could be?
