BlackBerry Curve 8910 Officially Unveiled by China Mobile

Oh look it has actually happened. The official announcement of the release for the BlackBerry Curve 8910 aka Atlas. It was thought for some time that the Atlas was a dead device and wouldn't see birth. However, we heard different with the full specs leaked back in January of 2010.




It was thought that the 8910 may also release in Europe, but this is still uncertain. What is strange is that the 8910 still appears to have a trackball, only running on 2G (supposed to be Evolved-EDGE), and it won't have WiFi (probably for censorship purposes from Chinese government).



It's almost like going back in time with the 8910. Basically this device is a stripped down version of the original Curve 8900. Below is a nice unboxing video.
