RIM Hypes BlackBerry 6 on Twitter
on Monday, July 19, 2010
It is no mystery that BlackBerrys will be getting the new OS dubbed 'BlackBerry 6' some time by the end of 2010. So far we have seen two official promotional videos to add to the hype.
RIM has now tweeted about one of the new features in BlackBerry 6, the universal search. Basically, from what we have seen, you will be able to search through absolutely everything on your device. It is a much more simplified and easier way to find your e-mails, media, etc.
A new Twitter hashtag, #BB6iscoming, has been started. It will be interesting to see if RIM begins to release more OS 6.0 details on Twitter as we near its official release. It is good to see RIM keeping the hype up and hopefully OS 6.0 is still on point for its said release date towards the end of Q3.
